Passes Away
Mrs, John Neibauer, 70 years of age, life long resident of New Baltimore and vicinity, passed away at her home on Base St. after a protracted illness of several weeks. Mrs. Neibauer, nee Tressa Burr was born in St. Clair County Nov. 2 1859 and was married to Mr. Neibauer at the age of 18 years making her married life of 52 years duration- She is the mother of 12 children, 10 of whom are living  They are Fred of Placerville Calif, Joe, South Bend Inuiana, John, San Francisco. Mrs.Mary Prall, Jackson Mich., Mrs. Ellen Coliett, New Baltimore, Micheal Detroit, Benjiman, Richmond, Mich. Leo, New Baltimore, Andrew and Louis of Chicago. Two sons Peter and Anthony are dead.

Mrs. Neibauer is also survived by her husband John and two brothers, John Burr of Redford and Joe Burr. Detroit 23 grand children and one great grand. child. The deceased and husband lived on a farm on the Section Road for 33 years moving to New Baltimore eleven years ago to the home on Base Street where she died. She was a member of St. Ann's Society and the Married Ladies Sodality of St. Mary’s Church. A Solemn Requem was said for Mrs. Neibauer, Wednesday. November 13th at nine o’clock. Rev. Fr. Charles Koenig, assisted by Rev. Fr, Schrader of Richmond, Michigan and the Catholic Chaplin at Selfrige Field officiated.  Interment was at the Catholic Cemetery. Funeral was in charge of the ca1 mortician Frank Christie.
