NIEBAUER -- Services for Mrs. Bertha L. Niebauer, 87, formerly of 1054 O'Brien St., who died Tuesday, will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Holy Cross Catholic; Church, Rev. William J. pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home. 2702 Lincoln Way where a wake service will be 7:30 p.m. today.

Mrs. Bertha L. Niebauer, 87, formerly of 1054 O'Brian St. died in the River Park Nursing Home at 5:20 a.m. today following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 1, 1883 in Owosso, Mich., and came to South Bend from three in 1906. Her husband, Joseph J., preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1965.
Her survivors are three sons, Frederick, of South Bend; Joseph Jr., of Cass0p0lis, and Robert, of California; three daughters, Mrs. Magdeline Niebauer, of Chicago; Mrs. Ruth McCormick, Winfield, lll., and Mrs. Cecilia Brown, of Lima, Pa., nine grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Hickey Funeral Home, 2702 Lincoln Way W. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
